Edgmond Village Shotokan Karate Club
Edgmond Village Shotokan Karate Club

The club was started in 1999 by brothers John & George Hill in Edgmond village which is where they grew up, they were assisted by Sensei Steve Mason. As children they had all learned the art of Shotokan karate and wanted to pass on their skills, while at the same time give local children a place to get off the streets.

We have two principal instructors Sensei John Hill 4th Dan & Sensei Steve Mason 3rd Dan. They are helped at the club by 2nd Dan Shara Green and we also have five 1st Dan members who have progressed through our clubs grading system and now help teach our lower grades. The dedication of all our black belts enables us to provide a great standard of learning for all our members.

All of our instructors have been CRB checked, plus we have a strict child protection policy in place.
